‘WOW: The Las Vegas Spectacular’ Celebrates Two Years on the Strip

Rio’s water-based variety show sails on a sea of silly fun….

BestOfVegas

It’s a world of water. A world of whimsy. And most especially, a world of wonder at WOW: The Las Vegas Spectacular. The fantastical international variety production at Rio Hotel Casino is celebrating two successful years with new acts and plenty of excitement and laughter.

WOW_Vegas_5

The premise of WOW is pretty simple…a shy, awkward fisherman casts his pole into mysterious waters and drifts off to sleep. His fishing line opens the doorway to an undersea kingdom of nymphs, mermaids, pirates, and long-lost souls. Freed from the depths, these spirits dance, sing, fly and celebrate with all forms of acrobatics and aerial magic. With their encouragement, the fisherman discovers his confidence and joins in on the fun.

20191127_192003.jpg

If the concept of a water-based dream sounds a little like Le Reve, you’re right. But that’s where the similarities end. Unlike the Wynn production’s romantic-triangle storyline, WOW audiences are presented with a free-wheeling assortment of sequences, each built around water. From the romantic canals of Venice to the dangerous shores of the Carribean to the Grand Ballroom aboard Titanic, WOW takes you on an unforgettable adventure through the oceans of time.

20171215_184006

20191127_193658

Rio’s spacious circular showroom has been outfitted with a powerful sound system and visual effects that are simply stunning. Wide panoramic screens envelop the audience and heighten the central action in a way that’s almost three-dimensional. You’ll feel like you’re zipping across the surface and plunging below the waves.

An actual pool at the center means you might even experience a mild splash or two.

Along with physical feats and plenty of gut-busting comedy, WOW features several Broadway-worthy dance numbers. A musical salute to “Singing in the Rain” drenches the cast in a high-tech downpour where rainfall takes the shape of umbrellas, diamonds, and hearts. With gorgeous choreography and highly-talented performers, this sequence alone is worth the price of admission.

But there are plenty of other reasons to experience WOW. The fun-filled production is….

R.U.N For The Exit – Cirque du Soleil’s Latest is an EPIC DISASTER

Tone-deaf stunt show-cum-blockbuster confuses vulgarity and violence for action…

88325751_10222102321532756_7225579612711944192_n

UPDATE 3/8/20 I just attended the final performance of R.U.N, which was abruptly shuttered. I got the impression that the majority of the audience was comprised of friends and family. The show began about 15 minutes late. There was a lengthy cast/crew onstage farewell and the performers were snapping photographs with each other as the curtain lowered for the final time.

Despite my absolute dislike for this production, I purchased tickets for third row, center section, to cheer on the performers, who carried no blame for this costly disaster.

UPDATE 1/7/20 VitalVegas.com has reported that ticket sales for R.U.N have been suspended beyond 4/30/20. It is not known at this time whether the show is being permanently closed or shut down for retooling. But it’s worth noting that all other Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas are currently offering tickets through the end of December 2020. This doesn’t bode well for R.U.N, but then again, the show must NOT go on in its current state of “fiasco”.

If we can applaud entertainment companies for expanding outside of their comfort zone, then we’re surely entitled to speak up when they cross the line. That’s what’s been happening since Cirque du Soleil premiered R.U.N: The First Live Action Thriller at Luxor a few weeks ago. The public reaction has been overwhelmingly negative.

The outcry towards R.U.N has gotten so strong that I was bashed on Twitter for penning an opinion-free article describing the structure and content of the show for a freelance gig:

Screenshot 2019-11-28 at 6.10.18 PM

Just how bad is it when readers DEMAND a negative review? Well…pretty darn bad indeed. R.U.N could have easily fallen into the category of “So awful that you have to see it”. Which is amusing when you consider that those very words described the previous occupant of Luxor’s theater – Criss Angel BeLIEve. That smelly heap of garbage somehow made it through ten long and miserable years (and several major overhauls) before Cirque could bleach away the stench and move forward with their next offering.

RUN2

But this is what they came up with for their newest show? I couldn’t for the life of me recommend R.U.N to anyone in good conscience…not even an enemy. It’s an ugly, inconsistent, poorly-planned and sloppily-executed mess that lies there like a dead body in a ditch. That is, except when characters are shouting F-bombs, being wheeled through the audience strapped to a torture device, having a syringe of drugs pumped into their arm or suspended over the audience by a metal claw driven into the face.

Yes, those things really happen in a Cirque du Soleil show….and people get up and walk out during these revolting sequences night after night (or so I’ve been told). It certainly happened during a Saturday 7pm timeslot that I attended. It’s also worth noting that despite plenty of nationwide advertisements and billboards all over the city, the auditorium was shockingly empty…..perhaps 25 percent of the seats were taken, and that’s not counting the two upper sections that are blocked off and covered with canvas. Ouch.

So how could something so awful make it past a brainstorming session, let alone twice-a-night performances on the Vegas Strip? Your guess is as good as mine. But let’s be real here….Cirque‘s reputation as a top provider of entertainment isn’t what it used to be. Viva Elvis did so poorly for ARIA that they ripped out their gorgeous theater when replacement production ZARKANA tanked there, too.

There have been numerous other missteps in the past few years that have allowed Spiegelworld (Absinthe, Opium and Atomic Saloon Show) to take away and put a new shine on Cirque’s tarnished crown. And the failing attendance of Cirque’s six other resident productions has led to rumors of them pulling out of Vegas altogether in the next few years. That’s what happens when you glut the market on a worldwide scale. You’re forced to eat your own tail just to survive.

Does anyone remember IRIS, the $100 million Cirque du Soleil resident show in Hollywood that closed after only 16 months? How about Paramour, the New York-based musical which did so poorly that Broadway’s LYRIC Theater paid Cirque $23 million just to close up and leave? There were other high-profile flops like Zaia in Macau, Zed in Tokyo, Banana Schpeel (New York/Chicago) and the first attempt to launch BAZ in Las Vegas (yes, it was Cirque that brought BAZ to Mandalay Bay before pulling out mere weeks into the run).

For some reason, Cirque du Soleil has been obsessed with Hollywood as of late. They seem to think that people want to pay over $100 to see a movie salute…at a time when people are skipping the cinemas and doing Netflix-and-chill at home. Besides film-centric IRIS and Paramour, they collaborated with director James Cameron on Worlds Away, a fantasy film that barely made a blip at the 2012 box office. Then Cirque produced TORUK – The First Flight, a poorly-reviewed touring show (based on Cameron’s AVATAR) that one magazine called “A troubling, redface spectacle”.

20191116_181907

R.U.N has guns, cars, drug dealers and LOTS of cardboard boxes…

Cirque even considered doing a Quentin Tarantino musical, but chose BAZ instead…because Tarantino films are so dark and violent! In an interview for Los Angeles Magazine in 2015, Cirque Theatrical‘s Scott Zeiger had this to say:

For the Record: Tarantino was going to be playing in Montreal. I went and loved it. I brought all of the top dogs from Cirque parent to see it. While all of them liked it, they were afraid for Cirque to get involved with this brand because the content of [Tarantino’s] films is pretty violent and deals with subject matter that might not be on the same wavelength with Cirque du Soleil’s more spiritual, love-oriented, happier themes.”

Yet here we are with a brand new $63 million production written by film director Robert Rodriguez, the man behind super-violent films like Planet Terror, Machete, Machete Kills and From Dusk Til Dawn. Somehow the company that once brought you glorious productions like Mystere and The Beatles LOVE thinks you want to spend an evening…and your hard-earned cash…watching the kind of show you’d slip into at Universal Studios for free to get out of the heat.

And as the photo below shows, people just didn’t care about the characters or what was going on all around them in the theater.

RUN9

Some people would rather stare at their phones than watch R.U.N…

That in itself shows just how tone-deaf Cirque has become to our current culture. And R.U.N lacks any kind of wink-wink fun that audiences might expect from the show’s advertisements. People are depicted as being tortured, killed and burned alive. One character has his arms and legs pulled out of joint and broken (with the sound of bone cracks amplified by Luxor’s megawatt sound system).

73286000_2461138307305014_6027795873323286528_n

Speaking of the sound system, this show is absolutely deafening. About five minutes in, my ears were literally hurting and my head began to throb. Fortunately, I’d read some online reviews warning about the extreme decibel level and brought along a pair of earplugs that stayed in place until the lights came up.

20191116_184655 (1)

So can this show be saved? Yes, it can. When Le Reve premiered at WYNN back in 2006, it was received so poorly that performances were cut and the production received a major retooling. Now it’s considered one of the best shows on the Strip…because audience reaction was analyzed and changes were made. And that HAS to happen with R.U.N, too.

RUN3

You’d have more fun playing a video game in a dark, creepy alley….

I predict a full closure for this show and a massive gutting. Costumes and sequences will be tossed out and the torture depictions have to go. Right now. There is no charismatic leading man to cheer for, no emotional investment in the fates of the characters, and even the plot (“retrieve a necklace to win” belongs in a video game, not a stage) will need to be refashioned into something people care about. A kidnapped child, perhaps? A damsel in distress? Anything but a pendant holding some secret data.

RUN4

The opening sequence, which is an actual film, goes on for far too long. From the get-go, people will be wondering “Did I just pay $300 to take my date to a movie?”. When flesh-and-blood characters actually appear, their performances and stunts will have you shrugging. Gang fights are so choreographed and punches so fake that you’ll think you’ve wandered into a high school production of “West Side Story”, despite silvery mylar costumes and moon boots that belong in a 90’s boyband video.

RUN10

Imagine if this show was built around an actual, heroic movie star! How cool would it be to watch the likes of Van Damme, Stallone, Chris Pratt or Dwayne Johnson doing their best stunt work before your eyes?  Even a live-action version of a familiar movie would be a cool idea…perhaps Rodriguez’s own SIN CITY, a hit film based on the works of Frank Miller. Now THAT is something I might recommend, not this violent, rambling and ugly excuse for a show.

20191116_181921

And yes, there were children in attendance despite a disclaimer stating that the material is intended for mature audiences 13 and up. I questioned a box office attendant as to whether they enforce this policy and she told me that they do not…it is a recommendation, not a restriction.

R.U.N is not a show for kids. Or teens. Or adults…or anyone, for that matter. Run as far away from R.U.N as you can…and don’t look back. Sorry, Cirque, but you’ve lost it…and heads are certainly going to roll.

20191116_182459 (1)

Normally I’d put ticketing information and showtimes here, but that’s not going to happen this time. See anything else (except for Mariah Carey or Criss Angel) but skip this bomb.

NEED FOR SPEED: HANS KLOK IS ‘THE WORLD’S FASTEST MAGICIAN’ IN NEW SHOW

BestOfVegas

When it comes to magic acts, the set-up is usually 90 percent of the illusion. Describe the trick, set up the props, lay on a little distraction and then…”ta-da!”. Not so with Hans Klok: The World’s Fastest Magician. Now performing six nights a week (with matinees on select dates), the latest production at Excalibur is a breakneck theatrical experience that will leave you slack-jawed and gasping in wonder.

76751587_1477520869064245_6118556490862166016_n.jpg

Longtime Vegas visitors may remember Klok’s large-scale 2007 production “The Beauty of Magic” at Planet Hollywood. Accompanied by glamorous Baywatch beauty Pamela Anderson, Klok turned Vegas magic shows inside out by combining vintage theatrical flamboyance with a hip, cutting-edge performance style (think Siegfried and Roy meet Criss Angel). The show drew attention from A-list celebrities like Sylvester Stallone and Amy Winehouse, along with former America’s Got Talent judge (and Anderson’s Baywatch co-star) David Hasselhoff.

74155315_1447421565407509_7909279646787567616_n.jpg

In the ensuing twelve years, the Holland native has cemented his status as the “Dutch David Copperfield”. He’s toured throughout Europe, received numerous awards, appeared on countless television programs and was inducted into the “Inner Circle” of the British Golden Circle Magic Organization. In addition, Klok set a world illusion speed record in 2012 which he subsequently topped the following year. Now he’s returned to Vegas with a new collection of spectacular mind-benders.

75308003_1458202814329384_478808387291709440_n

To describe any of Klok’s many sequences would spoil the fun. But “fun” is indeed the operative word here. The production is mostly light-hearted, family-friendly and filled with music and memorable costumes. A sexy cast of male and female dancers….

HUMAN NATURE’S LATEST SHOW FEATURES ‘MOTOWN AND MORE’

BestOfVegas

Relive the best songs of all time at “Human Nature Sings Motown and More”, Venetian‘s new show from chart-topping Australia’s Human Nature. Packed with amazing harmonies, precision choreography, live musicians and a stunning setlist, the group’s latest Vegas show will have you humming all night and dancing in the aisles.

HumanNature2

“Motown and More” is a nonstop cavalcade of hits, presented in a smooth sexy style that only Human Nature can deliver. After a joyous romp through the decades in the show “JUKEBOX”, the latest production revisits the Motown setlist that harkens back to their Vegas premiere. Debuting ten years ago at Imperial Palace with “Smokey Robinson presents HUMAN NATURE: The Ultimate Celebration of the Motown Sound”, the boys are excited to once again celebrate the songs that made them Sin City stars.

HumanNatureBanner

Motown is marking its 60th anniversary this year, so the latest refresh of Human Nature’s setlist was a brilliant decision. Currently celebrating three decades together, the group was presented with the Medal of the Order of Australia in May. Earlier this year they hit the 2,000 performance mark of their Vegas residency and this month the quartet will be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in Sydney. The Venetian has also extended their residency through 2022. So 2019 has indeed been packed with landmark achievements.

HumanNature4

Many Stateside fans are unaware that members Phil Burton, Toby Allen and brothers Mike and Andrew Tierney originally rose to fame in their homeland as a 90’s boyband. Yes, Motown singers that were the down-under equivalent to N’Sync and Backstreet Boys. But even before that, Human Nature formed as a school-age doo-wop group. And it’s that kind of feel-good music that they’re circling back to once more.

HumanNature3.jpg

And why shouldn’t they? After all, Human Nature boasts a stellar endorsement from mentor (and Motown legend) Smokey Robinson. And no matter what musical genre fills up your favorite playlist, chances are that you know the lyrics to “Stop! In The Name of Love”, “My Girl” and “I’ll Be There”. Those classics and many more from the “Motown sound” have made an indelible impression on our culture. And they continue to raise our spirits and lift us to our feet.

Along with the Motown songbook, guests can expect excursions into other periods with hits from the likes of…

‘Atomic Saloon Show’ Brings the Wild West to the Venetian

Spiegelworld’s latest in adult variety brings the Wild West to Venetian/Palazzo…

The folks at Spiegelworld are on a roll. With the 8th anniversary of ABSINTHE fresh in our minds and OPIUM continuing to draw new fans, it was only a matter of time before the cutting-edge entertainment company would unleash another outlandish concept. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the Atomic Saloon Show.

AtomicSaloonShowBanner1

The latest offering from Ross Mollison and his creative team is an all-out effort. Taking over the gorgeous, little-known space once home to controversial ‘The Act’, Atomic Saloon is a fully-realized theatrical concept. The gorgeous multi-level club has been reborn as an immersive old-West saloon/hotel housing multiple bars, intimate private spaces, lush woodwork, period accents…and supposedly a top-floor brothel (more on that in a bit).

20190921_210018.jpg

The backstory of ‘Atomic’ is as wacky as it is convoluted. The saloon’s original location in the Nevada desert was lost to nuclear testing decades ago. Proprietor “Boozy Skunkton” (Petra Massey) relocated her bar staff, working girls, entertainers and customers to a new spot inside Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes.

20190921_223514

Apparently all of the citizens of Skunton’s former town decided to come along too, including “Reverend Peabody” (Damien Warren-Smith), his nuns, lots of cows and a few tumbleweeds. And it would seem that everyone is caught in some kind of time warp.

67821281_454767898705569_6540380042344529920_n

As luck would have it, each of the townsfolk has an amazing and sexually-charged talent…even the Mayor (Pavel Stankevich). His Honor is a wordless heart throb who wanders in and out of the show when not climbing onto a four-post apparatus to display his amazing flexibility and strength. Guitar-strumming “Blue Jackson” (Sex Tips‘ Colin Cahill) has a penchant for breaking into naughty songs between cattle stampedes, showing off a pair of swiveling hips that would make Elvis jealous.

AtomicSaloonShow3.jpg

Good girl “Sweet Cheeks” (Alina Shpynova) longs to be free of Boozy’s gentlemen-callers and run away with the saloon’s French stud “Jean-Louis” (Jérôme Simard). Their amusing attempts to escape Madam Skunton’s brothel form the wraparound plot. In between, guests are entertained by a collection of aerial, acrobatic and dance numbers that are so in-your-face that the front row is cautioned to remain seated.

AtomicSaloonShow2

Fans of Spiegelworld’s defunct Vegas Nocturne will delight in the return of Peter Harding and Suzanne Cleary, whose unforgettable “Up and Over It” has been transformed into a delightful table-slapping folk dance. Athletic model David Zongoli brings erotic flamboyance to “The Outlaw” in two separate acts, a gravity-defying pole dance and a sensual aerial striptease.

AtomicSaloonShow7

Efforts by the good Reverend to shut down Boozy’s establishment go predictably awry. So much so that the Sisters fall victim to their urges, unleashing a cavalcade of ping-pong balls into the audience (don’t ask). Rev. Peabody himself weakens under Boozy’s spell, leading to a tawdry dance that had this writer watching from between his fingers.

AtomicSaloonShow5

No Western tale would be complete without a bar brawl…and ‘Atomic Saloon Show’ unleashes a doozy.

‘Sex Tips’ Star Louis D’Aprile Brings On The Steam

Handsome and hunky singer/actor plays “Dan” in the outrageous romp at PARIS Casino-hotel…

You may have seen my past article for BestOfVegas.com regarding cast additions at ‘Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man’. If not, check it out here. But it’s a well-known reality that the only “constant” in Las Vegas is “change”. So not long after publishing, it was time to say farewell to Mark Gregory Melton as lead character “Dan Anderson” and welcome some new blood….and more beefcake.

SexTips1

Mark was great in the role but was ready to return to his singing career.

As my year ends at ‘Sex Tips’, it’s reviews from friends like Sam that keep reminding me of how grateful I am to have had this opportunity and I can’t wait to see what’s next for me here in Vegas! My LAST show at ‘Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man’ here in Vegas is Sunday September 29, 7pm! Would love to see everyone there or before then!

With Mark’s departure, the character of “Dan” was filled by Vegas resident Louis D’Aprile, best known to audiences as “Joey Vitale” in Tony and Tina’s Wedding at Bally’s. The excitement was clear when Louis posted the news on his Facebook page:

Looks like I will be taking over as Dan Anderson in “Sex Tips For Straight Women From a Gay Man” starting September 30th!!! I am beyond honored, excited and thrilled to be headlining this amazing production and can’t be more grateful to all of those involved in the casting process!

Watching my dreams come true before my eyes is truly amazing and I can’t wait to see where my career goes from here! If you need me, I’ll be submerged in my script the next two weeks!!! CHEERS!!!

65293942_10156414436998634_8196440503068131328_n

If you think I was being a little sexist by introducing Louis with the above photo, you’re absolutely correct. His stunning face and steamy chiseled body automatically land him a coveted place in my Hot Guys of Vegas column. But D’Aprile’s talent and accomplishments speak for themselves.

44060652_10156208321237982_3446869610484203520_n

Louis has a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Theater from AMDA. Born and raised in New York City, he’s been bi-coastal for the past decade, taking turns in productions like Rock of Ages and even a music video for RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Violet Chachki.

Here in Sin City, Louis has become a favorite at Mark Shunock’s charity-driven Mondays Dark and at Kenny Davidsen’s Bow Tie Cabaret at Tuscany Resort. And if you’re wondering how he got such a stunning body, he’ll show you as your spinning instructor at The Ride Premium Indoor Cycling.

20767931_10154897217018634_7023612505775453707_n.jpg

Louis joined an impressive list of actors and celebrities in the male lead of the Vegas production of  ‘Sex Tips’. Previous performers include “Queer Eye” star Jai Rodgriguez, Douglas Katch Gray and of course, Mr. Melton. With the stellar inclusion of MaKenzie Fly and George Blick, ‘Sex Tips’ continues to be a must-see.

With all-new chemistry and character nuances. ‘Sex Tips For Straight Women From a Gay Man’ deserves a place at the top of your entertainment list.

‘SEX TIPS’ HEATS UP WITH THE ADDITION OF NEW STARS

There’s something funny going on inside the Anthony Cools Showroom of Paris Hotel…and it’s not just the long-running adult hypnosis show. Now in its third year at the same venue, ‘Sex Tips For Straight Women From A Gay Man’ unleashes naughty, side-splitting humor at a nonstop pace.

SexTipsVegas3

Based on an off-Broadway play that was itself inspired by a self-help book of the same name, ‘Sex Tips’ presents a scenario in which “Robyn”, an uptight and lonely college professional, is suddenly required to host a book club with the unfortunate acronym of RAAME (pronounced “Ram Me”).

SexTipsVegas2

Mark Gregory Melton as “Dan Anderson”…

Nervous but determined to succeed on her first assignment, Robyn follows a tried-and-true (albeit stuffy) method of read-and-discuss. Things immediately derail when Robyn discovers that ‘Sex Tips’ is the title of her forum’s first book. Then flamboyant guest author “Dan” rushes in like a gay force of nature, causing a panic attack for the painfully reserved host.

SexTipsVegas1

Myself with cast members MaKenzie Fly and Shyllon Melatti…

Things get even more complicated when Dan recruits hunky sound technician “Stefan” as his body model to demonstrate various dating and mating techniques. Naturally there’s plenty of sexual tension between Robyn and Stefan, which Dan takes full advantage of in a wide variety of amusing ways.

International Hit ‘Blanc de Blanc’ Pops a Cork at Sahara

Sexy new burlesque show forms the cornerstone of re-imagined resort…

UPDATE: Starting October 3rd, all showtimes are moving from 7 pm to 8 pm.

The conversion of legendary Sahara Hotel Casino into SLS Las Vegas wasn’t the success that everyone had hoped for. Nor was it the north-Strip savior that many predicted. But five years of floundering later, Sahara is back with the original name, new owners and lots of improvements. And leading their entertainment line-up is the wonderful Blanc de Blanc.

20190829_194622

Blanc de Blanc is an international hit that evokes the spirit of the finest champagnes. It’s fizzy, titillating, euphoric and oh so sophisticated. Featuring a gorgeous cast of singers, dancers, acrobats and comedians, it’s 75 minutes of fast paced, adults-only fun. The Foundry has been transformed into a lush Parisian cabaret for this production, lending an air of intimacy that few shows of this nature can achieve.

Blanc_De_Blanc_3

A two-level main stage is enhanced by three additional platforms, one of which becomes a balloon-filled hot tub as the show progresses. The action is all around you in the multi-level space which offers booths, cocktail tables, bar-side seats and…brace yourself…a Premium Champagne Hot Tub Experience. Yes, you can actually take a dip and sip bubbly with the cast (swimwear is required, so come prepared).

Blanc_De_Blanc_5

The show itself is reminiscent of Vegas Nocturne, the fantastic three-chapter Spiegelworld extravaganza that helped launch Cosmopolitan’s Rose.Rabbit.Lie in 2014. Fans of that short-lived production, which was ironically once rumored to resurface here at SLS/Sahara, will recognize cast member Spencer Novich. The rubber-bodied funnyman, who performed a similar role as “Ripley” in Vegas Nocturne, brings his unique onstage talents to Blanc de Blanc and also serves as its comedy director.

Blanc_De_Blanc2.jpg

Blanc de Blanc is hosted by elegant, towering and muscular Monsieur Roméo. Clad in a tuxedo, holding his ever-present champagne flute and speaking in velvety French, the former Armani model, photographer and comedian greets guests at their seat before each performance. His sultry charisma sets the perfect tone for an evening of steamy Parisian thrills.

Blanc_De_Blanc_4

Monsieur Roméo has worked in the past with entertainers like Lady Gaga, Beyonce and burlesque legend Dita Von Tesse. In a post-show conversation, Roméo told me that he’s been hosting Blanc through multiple tours of Australia, New Zealand and London before bringing it to the lights of Sin City.

Show director Scott Maidment was also on hand for the evening’s performance. He watched from an upper level booth….

Jeff Civillico – Physical Comedy At Its Best

Crowd-pleasing entertainer juggles his way into your hearts…

What do you get when you combine the rubber-faced madness of early Jim Carrey with the heart-stopping physical comedy of Buster Keaton and Jerry Lewis? Whatever your mind can conjure, it’s unlikely to resemble the reality of handsome headliner Jeff Civillico.

Vegas fans have been lining up for a decade to enjoy Jeff Civillico: Comedy In Action. He’s been on marquees from V Theater to the former Imperial Palace (aka The Linq) to the Flamingo. Children are props in an electrifying plate-spinning sequence and two unassuming dads become accomplices in the most unhinged unicycle ascent you’ll ever see.
